Monday Injury Report

Quarterbacks

Arizona's Jeff Blake injured his left heel and left the game on Sunday. Backup Josh McCown played for the rest of the game. Status: X-rays were negative - Blake's injury will be evaluated further as the week progresses. He was unable to put weight on the heel after receiving treatment from the medical staff, however.

Chicago's Kordell Stewart injured his neck in the game vs. Minnesota. Status: Stewart characterized the injury as a "stinger" and did not think that the problem would keep him out of next week's game. However, stingers have a way of recurring after they've happened once, so look out for his status as the week progresses.

St. Louis' Kurt Warner did not play on Sunday due to his concussion (as expected). Status: Warner's status is unknown at this time. Bulger gets the start vs. Seattle in the next game.

San Francisco's QB Jeff Garcia suffered a concussion in the game on Sunday, but returned to play. Status: The injury is considered a minor concussion at this time, but Garcia will be evaluated further as the week progresses. He is probable for next week's game.

Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck suffered a hip pointer during the game on Sunday. Status: The injury is considered minor, and shouldn't keep Hasselbeck out.

Tampa Bay's Brad Johnson pulled his groin on Sunday. Status: Johnson is expected to play vs. Atlanta.

Washington's Patrick Ramsey injured his left shoulder in the game on Sunday, but returned to play. Status: Ramsey's status for next week is unknown at this time. The team called the injury a sprained left shoulder - Ramsey assured the press that though it would be sore on Monday, that he would be fine for the next game. Coach Spurrier wasn't so sure.

Baltimore's Kyle Boller injured his left knee in the game on Sunday. Status: Chris Redman came in for Boller, who did not return to play. Boller's status for this week is unknown at this time. The team is calling the injury a mild sprain of the MCL, and the injury will be evaluated further later in the week.

Denver's Jake Plummer separated his right shoulder in the game on Sunday, and did not return to play. Status: Plummer's injury (a first-degree shoulder separation, requiring about 1 week to heal) will be evaluated further as the week progresses, but right now he is "questionable".

Indianapolis' backup QB Brock Huard missed the game on Sunday due to his injured hand. Status: Huard was listed as probable on the injury report.

New England's Tom Brady injured his right (throwing arm) elbow in the game on Sunday. He finished the game, however. Status: X-Rays for serious damage were negative, but Brady had soreness in the joint after the game.

Oakland's Rich Gannon had trouble with back spasms during the game, but stayed in the lineup. Status: Gannon's back will be evaluated further as the week progresses.

Tennessee's Steve McNair dislocated the ring finger on his throwing hand, but returned to play. Status: McNair was not very effective after returning, and his status for this week is unknown.

Green Bay's starting FB William Henderson suffered a hip contusion in the game on Sunday. Status: Henderson played through the injury, which is considered minor.

Green Bay's backup FB Nicholas Luchey did not play on Sunday due to his injured calf. Status: Luchey was listed as questionable before the game.

Minnesota's backup RB Doug Chapman missed the game on Sunday due to his injured ankle. Status: Chapman was listed as probable before the game.

St. Louis' Marshall Faulk left the game on Sunday with an eye injury. Status: The injury is considered minor at this time.
