(GB) had some trouble in Friday's practice. Offensive coordinator Tom Rossley
said the thumb "was hurting (Favre). I saw him warming up and it was bothering
him a lot. But he needed to throw and see the (defensive) looks and get into
the game plan." However, QB coach Darrell Bevell said, "After the
way he played last week, I'm not concerned at all. He's still going through
a lot of pain, but, other than that, he's OK. He was fine today."

Coach Wannstedt says the Dolphins "will lead the league in rushing the

to come after him until the Redskins prove they can pass block effectively.

exception. He is sore, but he practiced on Wednesday and should start this weekend.

on the team's injury report with a sore ankle. The team says the injury crept
up on Davis beginning Tuesday morning. Unless the injury worsens, Davis should
play this weekend. However, it would not be surprising to see the team lighten
his load a bit by giving DeShaun Foster a few more carries.

and is officially a game-time decision. Davis says he is "sore, but fine".
