buildup drained from his lower left abdomen Wednesday. He said he may be ready
to play against the Chiefs on Sunday. "If not, most definitely next week
for San Diego," Dillon said.
"It's time to start banging on people. I feel it's my duty to start
wrecking the league just to let 'em know that I'm here. I'm not going
anywhere." Dillon practiced again on Friday and has been upgraded to
questionable on the injury report. He has been named a game-time
decision. We believe he'll sit and Rudi Johnson will continue as the
starting RB.
Dillon had this to say about Rudi Johnson: "Let's get
to the bottom line: I support my teammates. They’re doing a great job. They’re
winning football games. I love what Rudi’s doing. Great job.
ESPN, pump him up. But when I’m healthy, I’m the best in the league.” Dillon
said, “Pound for pound, Corey Dillon is the Roy Jones (boxer) of the NFL. It
gets no better. I don’t duck and dodge nobody. Stack me up against anybody
else. Man, we’ll go toe to toe, round for round, and I ain’t gonna lose. People know who the man is, and I ain’t got to
prove it.”
RB William Green (Cle) should be active this weekend after serving his one-game
suspension last Sunday. However, it is not fully know if he or James
Jackson will be the starter.

games by the NFL for violating the league's drug policy.

the NFL will allow him to count last week's suspension as his first game

federal courthouse Thursday, hours before testifying before a grand jury
probing a nutritional supplements lab. Wheatley was one of five NFL players --
including four Raiders -- to appear Thursday before the panel. Others
included former NFL defensive player of the year Dana Stubblefield and Kansas
City Chiefs wide receiver Johnnie Morton. Wheatley threatened and cursed at a
group of photographers and TV cameramen outside the building, then raised his
right fist and slapped photographer Noah Berger hard on the right wrist when
Berger raised his camera Thursday morning. Berger, a freelance
photographer on assignment for the Associated Press, said he was not hurt. He
filed a report with the Federal Protective Service, but it was not clear
whether Wheatley would be charged. Wheatley, who appeared before the
grand jury in the afternoon, declined to comment when asked repeatedly about
the incident.
