on by a teammate. He did not take part in the afternoon practice.
*** THURSDAY UPDATE *** QB Michael Vick (Atl) did not practice on Thursday and
says he will not play this weekend. Any thoughts on Vick's current
condition can be summed up by Falcons LB Keith Brooking: "If it's
something that happens in a walkthrough and it's that tender and he has a
setback to where he can't practice, that's a pretty good sign that he probably
needs to rest it a little bit longer."
*** FRIDAY UPDATE *** QB Michael Vick (Atl) did not practice on Friday and will
not play this weekend.
QB Kyle Boller (Bal) is still out with his injured
quadriceps. He will miss at least three more games.

play if (when) the team is eliminated from the playoffs. That shouldn't

QB Brett Favre (GB) was in pain after hitting his broken thumb on a teammate's

*** THURSDAY UPDATE *** RB Joe Burns (Buf) is expected to start for Travis
Henry if he can not play this weekend. However, Sammy Morris will also
get a good deal of work as well.
RB Travis Henry (Buf) cracked a fibula just above his right ankle during last
Sunday's game. He continued to play on the injury and could continue to
play despite the broken bone. Henry is not expected to practice until
Friday.
*** THURSDAY UPDATE *** RB Travis Henry (Buf) wants badly to play this
weekend. HC Gregg Williams is optimistic that Henry will play. Henry's
agent, Greg Johnson, says he would prefer Henry sit until he is healthy.
For his part, GM Tom Donahoe maintains that the team will not risk Henry's long-term
health by playing him unless he is medically cleared.

RB William Green (Cle) was hospitalized Thursday with a knife wound to his
side. Westlake police responded to
an emergency call from Green's home made by the player's fiancee, Asia Gray,
who said Green "had cut himself." However, the police have
since arrested Gray and charged her with felonious assault and domestic
violence. It has not been a good November for William Green.
*** THURSDAY UPDATE *** RB William Green (Cle) was reportedly drinking at the
Hard Rock Cafe the evening before he was stabbed. That is a violation of
one of the terms of his current 4-game suspension. It is possible he
could face further suspension from the NFL.
*** FRIDAY UPDATE *** RB William Green (Cle) is about to be in a lot more
trouble real soon. Police searched his house looking for the knife that
his girlfriend likely used to stab him. They found the knife (embedded in
a kitchen cabinet complete with blood stains) and also found 4 separate bags of
marijuana throughout the house. William Green is already in stage 2 of
the drug program and is serving a 4 game suspension.
