QB Michael Vick (Atl) is finally healthy and will start this week.

QB Kyle Boller (Bal) is still out with his injured quadriceps, but he could return to practice next week.

QB Anthony Wright (Bal) will continue as the team's starting QB as long as they are in the hunt for the playoffs according the HC Brian Billick.

QB Drew Bledsoe (Buf) practiced on Thursday and Friday and says he will start this weekend. Bledsoe added, "The last two days I've felt fine. They've done every test they can come up with and everything is normal. I feel 100%."

QB Kordell Stewart (Chi) will start this weekend while Chris Chandler serves as the team's backup QB.

QB Tim Couch (Cle) was limited in Thursday's practice, but will be available this weekend. Kelly Holcomb will start.

QB Brett Favre (GB) practiced this week and will continue to play with the splint on his broken thumb.

QB Tony Banks (Hou) has been lost for the season with a broken hand.

QB David Carr (Hou) is improving but will be a game-time decision. Carr's shoulder is better now that it was last week when he played in relief of Tony Banks. However, he threw only five passes in the 2nd half, and the team will need more from the passing game this week with Domanick Davis hobbled. Dave Ragone will start if Carr can not go.

QB Mark Brunell (Jac) is healthy again but is the team's #3 QB. He says he'll be playing for another team next year "without a doubt."

QB Tommy Maddox (Pit) practiced all week and will start as usual.

QB Doug Flutie (SD) has been named the team's starting QB for this weekend.

QB Jeff Garcia (SF) is still the team's starting QB despite a horrible game last week. He draws a great matchup this week (against Arizona).

QB Steve McNair (Ten) says he feels much better than last week and will start as expected.

QB Tim Hasselbeck (Was) has been named the team's starting QB for this weekend's game. Patrick Ramsey will sit another week with his injured foot.

FB Justin Griffith (Atl) has been given a role in the offense with the loss of Warrick Dunn. "If it's single back, two TEs and two WRs (a run-oriented formation), T.J. (Duckett)'s taking most of that," said running backs coach Ollie Wilson. "If it's a three-wide receiver package [and one tight end, a pass-oriented formation], then Justin's taking most of that."

RB Travis Henry (Buf) did not practice on Wednesday but did some work on Thursday. He will start as expected.

RB Sammy Morris (Buf) did not practice on Thursday or Friday and will sit this weekend.

RB DeShaun Foster (Car) practiced all week and will backup Stephen Davis this week.

RB Anthony Thomas (Chi) practiced on Friday and has been removed from the injury report.

RB William Green (Cle) did not rejoin the Browns on Monday. He has been further suspended by the league for "treatment purposes." Green will have a March 8 pretrial hearing on drunken driving and marijuana possession charges. He appeared in court Wednesday, when the hearing had been scheduled. Commissioner Paul Tagliabue will decide when Green can return.

RB Aveion Cason (Dal) twisted a knee in Wednesday's practice and according to HC Bill Parcells, probably won't make the trip to Philadelphia. If Cason does not play, Richie Anderson will take his touches as the third-down back, and Erik Bickerstaff could be activated from the practice squad to provide depth.

RB Mike Anderson (Den) is still out serving the last of his four-game suspension.

RB Artose Pinner (Det) has been practicing but will probably sit again this weekend.

RB Domanick Davis (Hou) is improving, but he did not practice all week and will be a game-time decision. Tony Hollings will start if Davis can not go.

RB James Mungro (Ind) has been lost for the season after being placed on the injured reserve list with his severe turf toe injury.

FB Detron Smith (Ind) has been lost for the season after being placed on the injured reserve list with his injured knee.

RB Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala (Jac) practiced on Thursday and Friday and is available this weekend.

RB Fred Taylor (Jac) should carry 25-30 times per game according to HC Jack Del Rio.

RB Priest Holmes (KC) practiced all week and will start on Friday.

RB Larry Johnson (KC) was charged with aggravated assault and battery Friday morning in Kansas City and was unable to attend practice later that day. Johnson pleaded innocent to charges he threatened a former girlfriend with a gun and hit her. He is expected to miss this weekend's game.

RB Ricky Williams (Mia) practiced all week and will start as expected.

RB Antowain Smith (NE) was inactive last Sunday, and his future playing time will depend on the playing conditions. Smith is widely known as a cold-weather back. The Patriots finish the season with four games in the northeast.

RB James Fenderson (NO) did not practice on Friday and will sit this weekend. Lamar Smith will be the team's back-up RB this weekend.

RB Jerome Bettis (Pit) practiced on Thursday and Friday and will start as usual this weekend. In related news, Bettis said on Wednesday that he wants to play in 2004 and also wants to retire as a Steeler.

RB Verron Haynes (Pit) practiced all week and is available this week.

RB Kevan Barlow (SF) will start this weekend and get the majority of carries with Garrison Hearst hobbled with a knee injury.

RB Garrison Hearst (SF) underwent surgery on the meniscus in his knee and will not play for at least this weekend.

FB Mack Strong (Sea) did not practice on Thursday, but he did go on Friday and should play this weekend.
