11:31 am ET According to the Sporting News, Jake Plummer may have his snaps limited today in order to rest him for the playoffs. The Broncos are in and don't have much to play for.
And ESPN's Chris Berman just told NFL Countdown viewers that Rod Smith and Shannon Sharpe are also likely to spend considerable time watching from the sidelines.
11:50 am ET ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, broadcasting live from Ford Field in Detroit, reports that Isaac Bruce will play against the Lions.
Bruce missed last week's game -- and a fair amount of practice time this week -- with a high ankle sprain and will be playing at something less than full speed.
12:10 pm ESPN's Bob Holtzman, reporting live from Cincinnati, advised "NFL Countdown" viewers that Peter Warrick will play against the Browns today.
For what it's worth, Warrick reportedly looked sharper than he did in Friday's practice.
That said, it's unlikely he'll be working at full speed.
12:15 pm - CBS analyst Phil Simms, appearing on the network's "NFL Today" show, just advised viewers that Jake Plummer will not even dress for today's game.
The move is being made to keep Plummer healthy for the playoffs.
According to Simms, Jarious Jackson will start against the Packers in Plummer's absence.
12:48 pm - According ESPN insider Chris Mortensen, Neil O'Donnell will start at quarterback against the Buccaneers today, replacing Steve McNair, who hasn't practiced for three weeks due to ankle and calf injuries.
