has died in an ATV accident. Favre will miss Saturday's practice
session to attend the funeral but will play this weekend.

*** THURSDAY UPDATE *** QB Doug Pederson (GB) has been lost for the
remainder of the season after being placed on the injured reserve list
with his broken rib and broken bones in his back.

*** THURSDAY UPDATE *** QB David Carr (Hou) did not practice again on
Thursday. He hopes to practice on Friday and is expected to play this

be a game-time decision. And he also got a haircut.

*** THURSDAY UPDATE *** QB Steve McNair (Ten) practiced on Thursday as
expected and will almost certainly return to the starting lineup this
