Quarterbacks

leg, as expected.
Jacksonville's Byron Leftwich banged up his left shoulder and right ankle during
the game on Sunday, but stayed in under center. He said after the game that
"all I needed was about 30 seconds to get my pain tolerance to kick in
and I would be all right." He is not expected to miss the next game.
Miami's Jay Fiedler played on Sunday despite his cracked ribs. After the game,
coach Wannstedt indicated that he intends to keep starting Fiedler.
New England's Tom Brady took a vicious set of hits from two Seahawk defenders
on Sunday, but insists that he was not injured as a result. He looked pretty
shaky for a few minutes after being sandwiched between Chike Okeafor and Michael
Boulware, though.
Oakland's Rich Gannon missed the game on Sunday, as expected (fractured C7
neck vertebrae, out on Friday's injury report). Four doctors, including Los

Chronicle.
Pittsburgh's Tommy Maddox missed the game on Sunday, as expected (elbow injury,
out on Friday injury report).
Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger suffered a knee contusion during the game vs.
Dallas, but stayed in the game (he iced the knee in between series). It's not
a ligament issue where he twisted it but a bruise where he fell hitting his
knee on the turf. The injury will be evaluated further as the week goes along,
but doesn't look serious as of Monday.
Tennessee's Steve McNair aggravated his sore chest in the game on Sunday, but
continued to play. He was very sore in his chest after the game.

He was listed as out on Friday.
Detroit's FB Corey Schlesinger missed the game on Sunday, as expected (hamstring,

his ankle sprain, but had very light duty on a day when the team got behind
early and needed to throw the ball a ton.
Houston's starting FB Moran Norris (knee) missed the game on Sunday due to
his injury (questionable on Friday's injury report).
Houston's Domanick Davis bruised his thigh during the game on Sunday. After
the game he commented "It's nothing major, but it kept getting tight."

knee (questionable on Friday).

and is inching closer to a return.

and isn't mentioned as injured in the post-game materials out of Pittsburgh.
He has the bye-week to get 100% again.
San Francisco's Kevan Barlow banged up a shoulder, and fellow RB Terry Jackson
dinged a toe - both are expected back to play vs. Chicago after the bye week.
Tennessee's Chris Brown suffered a brachial plexus injury, which involves nerves
running down the right arm, and lost feeling in his arm until after the game
on Sunday. He left the game and did not return to action. After the game, he
indicated that the stinger isn't a major injury, in his opinion.

and after briefly returning to play ended up on the sidelines in his civilian
clothes during the second half. Coach Mike Tice listed Moss as "questionable"
for the next game against the Titans. Moss will be reevaluated later today.
Coach Tice commented after the game, "He's a fast healer. We'll see how
it goes." He said on Monday that the strain was a "little worse than
mild", and that the team would reevaluate Moss' status Friday or Saturday.
