Buffalo's backup QB J.P. Losman missed the game on Sunday due to his broken leg, as expected (doubtful on Friday).

Green Bay's Brett Favre's played through the pain of his jammed wrist on Sunday, and threw for 20/33 for 289 yards and a TD in the game - he was obviously uncomfortable at points, though. He is also dealing with a sprained thumb on his throwing hand, but intends to start as usual on November 14th (Green Bay has a bye this week).

Pittsburgh's Tommy Maddox continues to be sidelined by his right elbow injury. He was inactive on Sunday, as expected (out on Friday's injury report). Detroit's FB Corey Schlesinger was inactive for the game on Sunday, due to his injured hamstring (questionable on Friday's injury report).

Jacksonville's Fred Taylor, already slowed by a sore quadriceps, suffered a hip pointer at the end of the second half and watched the rest of the game from the sidelines. This week the Jaguars are on bye, so Taylor will have time to recover from his injuries, hopefully. Minnesota's Randy Moss played part of the game on Sunday, but was clearly hampered by his injured hamstring and ended up watching the 2nd half from the sidelines in his street clothes. After the game, coach Tice made comments about needing to find a way to run the offense while Moss recovers from the hamstring injury - there seems to be the possibility that Moss could miss a game. "Can we get him back at full speed sooner if we just sit him?'' coach Mike Tice said. "Or is he going to be back at full speed the same length of time if we just play him in a limited role -- based on the fact that in two weeks he didn't take a step back? So have to monitor that, as the week goes on. We have to do what's best for the team to achieve our goals, which are to win the division and win the world championship. We can't do what's best for a streak, or anything of that nature.'' This is a fluid situation - we'll keep an eye on it for you.
