HC Steve Spurrier (Was) cut his hand while tearing off his headset. He is expected to coach with a taped up finger when he faces the Eagles on Monday Night. QB Gus Frerotte (Cin) has a sprained thumb on his throwing hand. X-rays were negative and he was able to play this week with the pain. He is expected to play this week. QB Tim Couch (Cle) was only able to throw the ball about 10 yards. He will be held out of practice until Wednesday. Because of Kelly Holcomb's success, we expect Tim Couch will sit another week. QB Trent Dilfer (Sea) was the emergency quarterback last week. He has a sore knee and wants to play, but will see what he can do in practice. QB Steve McNair (Ten) was kicked in the leg, but played through the pain. He is not expected to miss any time. RB Deshaun Foster (Car) is expected to miss a couple more weeks. RB Brandon Bennett (Cin) twisted his ankle, but believes he will be able to play this week. RB James Stewart (Det) tweaked his knee during warmups and was a last minute scratch. He is expected to return to the lineup this week. RB Ahman Green (GB) left the game with cramps, but returned. RB Tiki Barber (NYG) is nursing both a tender hamstring and a sprained toe. He is expected to play through the pain this weekend. RB Curtis Martin (NYJ) suffered a sprained ankle. NRI revealed no damage and he is questionable to play this week. FB Zack Crockett (Oak) hurt his neck, but X-rays were negative. He is expected to play this week. RB Robert Holcombe (Ten) bruised his hip. His status for next week is not yet known. RB Stephen Davis (Was) suffered a groin injury that is not considered serious. WR Terry Glenn (GB) left the game, but was able to return. He is expected to start as usual. WR Donald Driver (GB) bruised his ribs, but it is not expected to keep him out of this week's game. WR Keenan McCardell (TB) suffered a thigh contusion. He will likely be listed as questionable this week. WR Derrick Mason (Ten) suffered a concussion, but appears fine. He will be re-evaluated later in the week. TE James Whalen (Dal) suffered a bruised calf, but is expeced to play next week. TE Marcus Pollard (Ind) suffered a knee sprain and bruised ribs. He is expected to be listed as questionable or doubtful on the injury report. TE Byron Chamberlain (Min) strained his PCL. The MRI showed no ligament damage. He will likely miss at least a game. Jim Kleinsasser will play TE in his absence. TE Chad Lewis (Phi) suffered a stinger, but was able to finish the game. He is expected to start as usual next week. TE Erron Kinney (Ten) twisted his ankle and is not expected to be available next week. PK Jason Elam (Den) aggravated his already sore hamstring. He will likely play through the pain this week. PK Brett Conway (Was) has a torn quad. He is lost for the season and it could be career ending. Washington is trying out kickers this week.
