Detriot's Joey Harrington had to leave Sunday's game with an irregular heartbeat. He stayed overnight in a local hospital for observation. Status: The problem cleared up shortly after Harrington left the game and is not considered serious at this time, but the team has already commented that he will not play the remaining two weeks of the season. Mike McMahon will start in weeks 16 and 17.

Carolina's Rodney Peete was knocked out of the game on Sunday with dizziness in the second quarter, but returned to finish the game during the third quarter. Status: The problem is not considered serious at this time.

Atlanta's Michael Vick injured his left (throwing) hand on Sunday, but played through the injury. Status: The extent of the injury is unclear at this time.

San Francisco's Jeff Garcia sprained his right ankle on Sunday, but continued to play during the final drive. Status: The injury happened when Garcia ran into Gilbert Brown late in the game. Cleveland's Tim Couch jammed his thumb on a TD pass to Kevin Johnson during the game on Sunday, but remained in the game. Status: The injury is not considered serious at this time.

Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck aggravated his sprained left foot on Sunday, but played through the injury. Status: Hasselbeck played through the injury on Sunday, and will do so again next week vs. St. Louis barring a setback during the week.

Philadelphia's Koy Detmer appeared in the game on Sunday, as holder for field goals and extra points. He is expected to take over the starting QB job again as soon as he is fully healthy. Status: The return to action is a sign that Detmer's elbow is healing - no word on when he'll be 100% yet, though.

Running Backs

Indianapolis' Edgerrin James was unable to complete the game vs. Cleveland - his ankle injury flared up again. Status: The injury kept him out of the game in the fourth quarter, and continues to flare up every week.

Indianapolis' Ricky Williams suffered a leg injury in the fourth quarter, and limped off the field (he did not return). Status: The extent and nature of the injury is unknown at this time.

Washington's Stephen Davis separated his right shoulder in the game vs. Philadelphia. Status: The injury will likely end Davis' season - an MRI is scheduled for today to determine the extent of his injury.

Detroit's James Stewart was unable to play Sunday due to hip and toe injuries. Status: The injuries will be evaluated further later this week - Stewart has also been knocked out of the previous two games by stingers.

Kansas City's FB Tony Richardson separated his right shoulder in the game vs. Denver. Status: Richardson is likely out for the season due to the injury.

Kansas City's Priest Holmes injured his right hip on Sunday, and could not return to action. Status: Holmes was on crutches after the game: the extent and nature of the injury is unknown at this time, but X-rays showed that it is not a broken bone, at least. In the press conference today the team stated that Holmes is doubtful this week. They dhould know more after an MRI that will be conducted later today.

Pittsburgh's Jerome Bettis hyper-extended his left knee in the game, but returned to action. Status: The injury is not considered serious at this time.

Jacksonville's reserve RB Patrick Washington tore an MCL in the game. Status: Washington is done for the season, and may need reconstructive surgery (further evaluation of the injury will occur this week)

Green Bay's Ahman Green played in the game vs. San Francisco on Sunday, and scored a touchdown. Status: Green's injured knee looked fine during the game.

Wide Receivers

Kansas City's reserve WR/KR Dante Hall injured his ankle in the game Sunday. Status: X-rays were negative, but the severity of the sprain is unknown at this time.

Detroit's reserve WR/KR Eddie Drummond suffered a concussion on Sunday. Status: The severity of the concussion is unknown at this time - remember, concussions are unpredictable and after-effects often appear days after the initial injury.

San Francisco's Terrell Owens aggravated his heel and groin injuries on Sunday. Status: Owens said he may sit out the Arizona game on Saturday to heal up the nagging injuries. He played vs. Green Bay at "75 to 80%", according to his own estimate.
