Quarterbacks

Cleveland's Tim Couch was knocked out of the game with a concussion Sunday Night and did not return. Status: Concussions are notoriously unpredictable, with after-effects ranging from light to severe. The prognosis for Couch is unknown at this time.

Philadelphia's Donovan McNabb was fatigued, sick to his stomach and de-hydrated by the end of the game in Jacksonville. Status: After the game, McNabb was given fluids intravenously to re-hydrate him after his vomiting episode.

Washington's Danny Wuerffel injured his right shoulder early in the game on Sunday. Status: Wuerffel's injury in unknown in extent, but he probably lost his starting job to rookie Patrick Ramsey due to Ramsey's strong play against the depleted and limping Titan's secondary.

Atlanta's Michael Vick injured his right (non-throwing) shoulder on Sunday. Status: X-rays were negative, but the coaching staff is stating that Vick will be doubtful this week. Doug Johnson is expected to start in his place.

Running Backs

St. Louis' Marshall Faulk left the game in the third quarter with back spasms on Sunday. Status: Faulk returned later in the game. Coach Martz indicated that the flare-up was not unusual or anything to be particularly concerned about.

Washington's Stephen Davis injured his right knee on Sunday. Status: Originally thought to be very serious, but Davis was able to return to the game. The injury is now diagnosed as a sprained MCL, and Davis is expected to continue playing through the sprain. Keep an eye on how the sprain progresses this week, if Davis is on your team.

Oakland's Charlie Garner pulled his left hamstring during his 69 yard touchdown gallop on Sunday. Status: Garner did not return to the game, spending the rest of the game stretching and having the hamstring massaged. Coach Bill Callahan reported that Charlie Garner is very questionable this week and that Tyrone Wheatley would start if Garner cannot go.

San Francisco's FB Terry Jackson injured his right quadriceps on Sunday. Status: Jackson is listed as probable for next Monday's game with Seattle.

San Diego' s back-up RB/ST Terrell Fletcher sprained an ankle covering a punt on Sunday. Status: Fletcher's injury will be evaluated further later in the week.

Arizona's FB Joel Mackovicka left the game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury. Status: The extent of the injury is unknown at this time.

New Orlean's back-up RB and ST captain Fred McAfee re-injured his right hamstring on the second kickoff and did not return to the game. Status: The same injury sidelined McAfee since week 1. The severity of the re-injury is unknown at this time.

Tampa Bay's Mike Alstott sprained his right ankle on Sunday. Status: Alstott returned to the game and the injury is not considered serious at this time.

Dallas' Joey Galloway suffered from leg cramps Sunday. Status: He is expected to play as usual this week.

Atlanta's Brian Finneran may have dislocated a finger on Sunday. Status: The injury will be evaluated further later in the week as the swelling goes down.

Tight Ends

San Diego's Stephen Alexander was carried off the field with a foot injury on Sunday. Status: The X-rays did not reveal a break, but the team fears joint damage, and will have an MRI performed on Monday. Check his status later in the week if Alexander is on your team.

New York Giant's Jeremy Shockey suffered a turf toe in the win over Dallas Sunday. Status: The extent of the injury is unknown at this time, but coach Fassel expressed "worry" over Shockey's status for the game this Sunday.
