Seattle's Trent Dilfer tore his right Achilles tendon on Sunday. Status: Dilfer is lost for the season.

Pittsburgh's Tommy Maddox left the game vs. Baltimore with an ankle injury, but returned to action later in the game. Status: The injury is not considered serious at this time.

Baltimore's Chris Redman was a game-time scratch due to a back problem that caused shooting pains in his legs prior to the match with Pittsburgh on Sunday. Status: The injury is being evaluated with an MRI today, and will be watched closely during the week. Redman reported being unable to put weight on his right foot due to numbness accompanying the pains. Monday Press Conference Update: Redman is out this week and possibly the next. Jeff Blake will start in his place.

Tampa Bay's current starting quarterback, Rob Johnson, strained a buttocks muscle on Sunday vs. the Panthers. Status: The injury is not considered serious at this time.

Atlanta's Michael Vick suffered a thumb injury on his left (throwing) hand and also injured his left shoulder on Sundy. Status: The injuries left Vick feeling nauseous, but did not stop him from leading his team to victory. The extent of the thumb injury is unknown at this time, but Vick is expected to play vs. Baltimore next Sunday, barring further complications.

Chicago's Chris Chandler was knocked out of the game on Sunday when the wind got knocked out of him by Minnesota's defenders. Status: The injury is not considered serious, though Chandler did not return to the game and Henry Burris finished the final two series of the loss.



Running Backs

Washington's Stephen Davis sprained his right knee in the game Sunday night and did not return to action. Status: Davis was unsure if he could play next week after the game, and reported that this injury was more painful than the first time he sprained the knee, earlier in the season. Further evaluation of the joint will occur later in the week.

Indianapolis' Edgerrin James left the game in the fourth quarter with a right hamstring injury and did not return. Status: The extent of the injury is unclear at this time, and will be further evaluated as the week progresses.

San Francisco's Garrison Hearst was bothered by his injured hamstring and did not play for most of the second half. Status: The injury is nagging Hearst, and will be evaluated further in the week.



Wide Receivers

Seattle's Darrell Jackson suffered a severe concussion during the game on Sunday, and experienced a seizure in the locker room as a result of the head injury. Status: The extent of the injury is unclear at this time, but the concussion is definitely of the serious variety. Jackson will be further evaluated today. A CT scan of his brain and X-rays of the player's neck showed no damage Sunday night.

Arizona's back-up WR Bryan Wilmore left the game Sunday with his leg in a protective boot on the cart. Status: The extent of the injury is not known at this time - it is currently called a left ankle sprain.

San Francisco's Terrell Owens sprained his left ankle in the game Sunday. Status: The injury is not considered serious, and Owens is listed as probable for next Sunday.

Tampa Bay's starting WR (in the place of Keenan McCardell, out with a fractured clavicle) Joe Jurevicius left the game on Sunday with a sprained right knee and ankle, and did not return. Status: The extent of the injury is unknown at this time - Jurevicius will be evaluated further later in the week.

Detroit's reserve WR/KR Desmond Howard injured his ribs on Sunday. Status: The extent of the injury is unknown at this time.

Adams will have an MRI on the joints this week and be evaluated further - things do not look good at this point. Adams reports hearing a pop during Friday's practice and stated that this injury is more than cartilage - "Something else", and "something worse", he reports.

Kansas City's starting CB William Bartee suffered a left quadriceps injury on Sunday. Status: The extent of the injury is unclear at this time - Bartee will be evaluated further later in the week.

Tennessee's back-up CB Dainon Sidney broke his left forearm in the game on Sunday. Status: The injury is being further evaluated, but surgery is a likely option, which would sideline Sidney for several weeks.

Tennessee's back-up LB Randall Godfrey's ankle would not allow him to play Sunday. Status: The injury will be further evaluated later this week.
