Couch broke his right fibula in the win over Atlanta on Sunday. Status: Couch is
out for the post-season due to the injury, and was fitted with a cast today. He
will need 4-6 weeks in the cast. Backup Kelly Holcomb steps in for the play-off

Johnson missed the game vs. Chicago on Sunday due to his bad back. Status: The
Bucs locked up a first round bye, which will really help Brad Johnson out. The
Buccaneers insist that there are no fractured vertebrae in Johnson�s back, and
that he will practice this week. His injury will be further evaluated in the
weeks to come. Philadelphia�s
Donovan McNabb will return to practice this week (Thursday) and has another
week to rehabilitate his broken right ankle. Coach Reid indicated that Koy
Detmer should be ready to resume the #2 spot on the depth chart behind McNabb
after this week�s work rehabbing his elbow � almost all the flexibility has

Fisher injured his neck in the loss to New York on Sunday. Status: The extent

Finn missed the game on Sunday with a high ankle sprain. Status: Finn will be

Edgerrin James reports that he feels closer to 100% than at any other point
this season heading into the playoff game vs. the Jets. James was 15/86 vs. Jacksonville,
and has contended with rib, ankle and hamstring injuries all season after
rehabbing a blown left knee in the off-season. Pittsburgh�s Jerome
Bettis missed the game on Sunday with a knee injury. Status: Bettis is expected
back in the lineup for the playoff game next week. Wide Receivers Green Bay�s Donald
Driver bruised his left shoulder in the game on Sunday. Status: X-rays were
negative, and the injury proved to be a shoulder contusion and strain, as
originally diagnosed. No damage to the joint�s rotator cuff was shown on the
MRI, and the team is optimistic Driver may be available for the match vs.
Atlanta on Saturday. Indianapolis� Marvin
Harrison injured his left elbow in the third quarter on Sunday, but returned to
action on the next series. Status: The injury is not considered serious at this

Dixon may be able to return to action for the Giants vs. San Francisco. Status:
Coach Fassel indicated that Dixon�s chances to return for the playoffs are
�reasonably good�. Dixon�s progress will be monitored closely this week. Philadelphia�s Todd
Pinkston missed Saturday�s game due to a turf toe. Status: Coach Reid said that
Pinkston�s toe continues to improve and that the swelling is going down � he is
expected to be ready to play after the bye week, but may be limited in practice

Jefferson missed the game on Sunday due to a strained left hamstring. Status:
Trevor Gaylor has played in Jefferson�s spot, and could do so again next week
if Jefferson�s hamstring doesn�t improve. Jefferson will be evaluated further

Williams injured his left knee on Saturday. Status: The injury is diagnosed as
a sprained MCL � Williams will have an MRI to further evaluate the injury.

RG Kynan Forney jammed his shoulder in the game on Sunday. �Status: The extent of the injury is unknown

starting T Tra Thomas is expected to be fully recovered from his quad contusion
after a week off due to the Eagle�s bye week. Green Bay�s starting
T Earl Dotson was active but did not play on Sunday due to a back injury (an
irritated nerve root) and a hip problem. Status: Dotson hopes to recover enough
to play in the playoff game on Saturday. He will be evaluated as the week

RT Lincoln Kennedy missed the second half of the game on Saturday after
injuring his groin. Status: The severity of the injury is unknown � Kennedy

G Zach Piller (left calf) and starting T Brad Hopkins (right knee sprain) both
missed Sundays� game. Status: Both players have time in multiple games due to

DE Jevon Kearse aggravated his left foot injury in the game vs. Houston. Status:
The injury was X-rayed and they came back negative. After the game, coach

Shulters suffered a hip contusion on Sunday. Status: The injury is not

starting LB Kendrell Bell injured his left ankle on Sunday. Status: Bell left
