Upgrades
**** Waiver Wire**** QB Matt Hasselbeck (SEA) - Hasselbeck finished with 264 passing yards on 28 of 44 passing. Hasselbeck posted decent numbers but failed to throw for a touchdown. He also lost two fumbles. Hasselbeck's job is secure. He may not post great numbers, but Sunday's performance indicates that he can be efficient and somewhat productive. If you need a quarterback, give him a shot.

**** Waiver Wire**** QB Jon Kitna (CIN) - Kitna was very efficient on Sunday with 263 passing yards and 4 touchdowns on 22 of 27 passing. Kitna has proven an ability to lead the team's offense in the last few weeks. His job is secure, but do not expect consistent production now has plenty of job security after leading the Bengals to their first victory of the season. Keep in mind; the Bengals offense has been productive against two of the league's worst defenses in the last 2 weeks.

**** Waiver Wire**** QB Brad Johnson (TB) - Johnson was tremendous against Minnesota with 313 passing yards and five touchdowns. Where did this performance come from? Is Jon Gruden's offense starting to show productivity in Tampa?

QB Tom Brady (NE) - Brady posted excellent numbers against Buffalo. He finished with 310 passing yards and 4 touchdowns and showed signs of his production level to start the season. Will Brady and the Patriots offense build on this strong performance? I think so. It is time to jump back on the Brady bandwagon. He completed 23 of 27 passes.

QB Tommy Maddox (PIT) - Maddox continues to be the surprise of the season. He passed for 239 yards and two touchdowns against Cleveland. With Plaxico Burress and Hines Ward at receiver, Maddox has some talented weapons at his disposal. Look for Maddox to continue his consistent production as the season progresses.

QB Jeff Garcia (SF) - Garcia threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns against Oakland. Garcia started the season slowly, but he has regained "must start" status. Keep him in your lineup.

RB TJ Duckett (ATL) - Duckett returned from a foot injury and had another quality game. Duckett outperformed Warrick Dunn once again and finished with 75 rushing yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Dunn finished the game with 40 yards on 10 carries. Look for Duckett to be the team's most productive running back, if he stays healthy.

RB Marshall Faulk (STL) - Marshall Faulk totaled 236 yards and scored a touchdown against the Cardinals. Faulk continues to be "the man".

**** Waiver Wire**** RB Kenny Watson (WAS) - Watson totaled 152 yards as Stephen Davis' replacement against Seattle. Watson will be a productive back, if given the chance. Keep in mind; Davis is the Redskins' primary running back. Watson will only be productive, if Davis remains hindered by injury.

RB Antowain Smith (NE) - Smith rushed for 111 yards and totaled three touchdowns against his former team on Sunday. Smith finished last season with 13 touchdowns. He entered Sunday's game with just two touchdowns in the first seven games this season. Look for Smith to build on this momentum and remain strong as the weather worsens in New England.

**** Waiver Wire**** RB Moe Williams (MIN) - All he does is score touchdowns.

**** Waiver Wire**** RB James Mungro (IND) - With Edgerrin James out, Ricky Williams was scheduled to start Sunday's game. However, Williams pulled a hamstring in pregame warm-ups and Jim Finn got the start. Finn's production was minimal, so the Colts gave James Mungro a chance. He finished the game with 60 rushing yards on 16 carries and 6 catches for 33 yards. If you need a running back, give Mungro a shot. If James and Williams remain out, Mungro should be semi-productive in the Colts offense. Keep in mind; he is only "band aid" solution.

RB Amos Zereoue (PIT) - Zereoue finished with 111 rushing yards on 29 carries against Cleveland. However, he will return to his backup role once Jerome Bettis returns. Why upgrade him? Well, Zereoue has proven that he can be productive as the Steelers starter. With Bettis getting older and showing signs of fragility, Zereoue may return to this role...possibly during the fantasy playoffs.

**** Waiver Wire**** RB William Green (CLE) - Jamel White injured his right shoulder midway through the third quarter of today's game and did not return. This might be the opportunity that Green needs. We will keep you updated on the severity of White's injury.

**** Waiver Wire**** WR Reggie Wayne (IND) - With all the injuries to the running game, look for the Colts to pass the ball often. Wayne caught five passes for 93 yards on Sunday. Wayne is starting to become more comfortable in the Colts passing game. Look for Wayne to receive more attention from Manning as the season progresses.

WR Keyshawn Johnson (TB) - Johnson had nine catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns against Minnesota. Finally, Johnson does something this season. Johnson has struggled in basic scoring leagues the last 2 seasons.

WR Peerless Price (BUF) - Price continues to perform in his "contract year". He finished with nine catches for 98 yards and a touchdown against New England. Keep him in the lineup. He is a necessary start.

WR Hines Ward (PIT) - Ward finished with 79 yards and a touchdown on nine catches Sunday. Keep in mind; Ward finished with 97 yards and eight catches last Sunday. He continues to be a productive play with Tommy Maddox at quarterback.

WR Terrell Owens (SF) - Owens finished with 12 catches for 191 yards against the Raiders. Owens has the momentum heading in the right direction. He has scored five touchdowns and totaled 468 yards in his last four games. He is a stud.

**** Waiver Wire**** WR Travis Taylor (BAL) - Taylor finished with 166 total yards and a touchdown against Atlanta. Taylor has caught 11 passes for 209 yards in the two games that Jeff Blake has started. With Chris Redman in the starting lineup, Taylor had just 219 yards in six games. Basically, Taylor owners want Jeff Blake to remain the quarterback in Baltimore.

WR Jerry Porter (OAK) - Porter is learning from two of the best receivers of all-time. He finished with six catches for 53 yards and a touchdown against San Francisco. Porter is a must pickup in all keeper/dynasty leagues. His production will remain inconsistent this season, but the potential for big games is evident. He is big, strong, fast and talented.

WR Koren Robinson (SEA) - Mike Holmgren has given Robinson the chance to be the primary receiver in Seattle and he is taking full advantage of it. He finished with eight catches for 100 yards against a solid Washington secondary on Sunday. With Darrell Jackson out, grab Robinson.

WR Marvin Harrison (IND) - Harrison caught 11 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown Sunday. Harrison has been somewhat disappointing this season. There is no need to trade him. Keep him in your lineup.

**** Waiver Wire**** WR Tai Streets (SF) - Streets is complimenting Terrell Owens quite nicely. If he is available, pick him up now. Streets finished Sunday's game with eight catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. Streets was able to get open on a deep pass play against Oakland, but Garcia overthrew him.

WR Peter Warrick (CIN) - Warrick had seven catches for 86 yards and a touchdown against Houston. Warrick has been a huge disappointment this year. Sunday's performance is encouraging, but he remains a backup in fantasy leagues. However, he is worthy of a spot on your bench in larger leagues. If the Cincinnati offense continues to show improvement, Warrick could become a decent fantasy starter.

Downgrades

QB Joey Harrington (DET) - The rookie quarterbacks struggled on Sunday. Harrington completed just 14 of 33 passes for 104 yards, zero touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Just a few reasons to keep that rookie quarterback on the bench.

QB David Carr (HOU) - Carr completed just 18 of 32 passes in a loss to Cincinnati on Sunday. Carr managed just 199 passing yard, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Keep those rookie quarterbacks on the bench.

RB Shaun Alexander (SEA) - Alexander finished with just 69 yards on 19 carries (3.5 ypr). He did finish with eight catches for 48 yards. Alexander has been a huge disappointment this season with just one 100-yard game. Alexander has not provided the consistent production necessary for fantasy football.

RB Jamel White (CLE) - Jamel White injured his right shoulder midway through the third quarter of today's game and did not return. We will keep you updated. The injury will give William Green another chance.

RB Michael Pittman (TB) - Pittman had a meager three carries against Minnesota. The Bucs used Mike Alstott as their featured back. This is not a good sign for Pittman. His disappointing season continues.

WR Az Hakim (DET) - "Stone hands managed just 2 receptions for 17 yards. He is not a worthy fantasy option.

PK Jose Cortez (SF) - San Francisco may have a new kicker soon.
