PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF RESULTS
Every site claims self appointed "gurus" or "experts". Footballguys claims a proven track record of subscribers dominating their leagues. A clear case of our readers mopping up the competition was in last year's World Championship of Fantasy Football. The WCOFF featured 500+ of the most hardcore FF owners in the world vying for the biggest purse in league history. The winner took home $200,000. Several more won $15,000 or more. The top 5 winners had one thing in common - all were subscribers to Footballguys.com. That's like the top 5 finishers in the Kentucky Derby all coming from the same trainer.

Says Chris Schussman, winner of the WCOFF $200,000 Grand Prize,

"Footballguys.com was invaluable in giving me the advice and resources I needed to win the World Championship of Fantasy Football"

Don't be surprised if the winner in your league is a Footballguys.com subscriber. Since day one, we've operated this business with one goal - To give our readers the tools and information they need to Dominate their Leagues. And our customers have the track record to prove it.

BECAUSE TIME EQUALS MONEY
Our paid staff of 55+ Football Writers scour the country to bring you every shred of information possible. Could you do this on your own? It's possible. The internet is an amazing source of information. But you'd need to have approximately 300 hours per week to spend in front of a computer and on the phone to approach the level of information we bring. Most of our customers don't have that kind of free time. They'll let us do the legwork and bring them the info. Much like the President of a company has his subordinates gather and bring him the important information he needs to make a decision. Footballguys.com won't run your team for you. But we will bring you the tools and information you need to make the best decisions you possibly can as you run your team. You don't have to spend your every waking hour searching for info to know all you need to know. Let us bring it to you so you'll have time for other things - like a life maybe? (Don't worry, our Staff guys are way past that)

UNBEATABLE VALUE
In this day of clipboard carrying backup QBs pulling down 7 figure salaries, we're proud to offer what we think is the best value in sports sending our customers incredible amounts of information for $24.95. In 2002, we provided our readers 12,240 pages of content with no fluff. That number will be closer to 20,000 pages for this season.

At $24.95, that works out to roughly 1/8th of one penny per page.

To be blunt, we want to provide such an avalanche of information that our customers laugh out loud when they consider the question, "is it worth 25 dollars?" We want to make it a no brainer for you.

GIVING BACK TO OUR CUSTOMERS
To show how much we appreciate our customers, Footballguys offers a free contest available only to subscribers with a $15,000 Winner Takes All Prize. As part of your $19.95 subscription, you will be allowed to select a fantasy team that will compete against all other FBG subscribers at the chance for $15,000. How many other information sites do that? Just one, Footballguys.com. Most contests have worse payouts than this. We are giving this away plus over 20,000 pages of content for $19.95.

BREAKING NEWS EMAIL UPDATES
One of the features subscribers continually tell us is the most useful is our Breaking News Email Updates. When you have our staff of 55+ guys, plus a network of thousands of contacts across the country, it's a fantastic "grapevine" for obtaining news and insights. When the local radio announces Emmitt Smith tweaked a hamstring in practice 10 minutes ago, one of our contacts shoots us an email and we in turn pass that along immediately to our customers. It's like being plugged into the world's best information network. Our readers will consistently be aware of breaking news usually well before the competition.

100% FOOTBALL
Most Fantasy Football sites have been unable to resist the dollars available if they'd try and cover other sports. For us, Football is a 12 month sport. Footballguys.com does not spread its resources around to the "other" sports. We feel keeping that focus lets us bring our customers the best information and tools available. We're all about Football - All of the time.

THE BEST TOOLS
Footballguys.com continually leads the pack in the development of applications to help with your fantasy draft and with the subsequent management of your roster. We introduced Value Based Drafting to the Football world back in 1996 and Footballguys.com was the first to create a Value-Based Drafting Excel Application. We've continually refined the model to include IDP, Flex Positions and Auction Support. Footballguys.com has added an online VBD App, a Draft Dominator Program, a Trade Dominator Program, and a Pick Value Calculator. We'll lead while others copy and follow. If there's a tool that'll help you win your league, we want it for you.

THE BEST FEATURES
You won't find "fluff" features. What you will find are the Tools and Analysis you need to win. Some of the many weekly features we'll offer:

  • Offensive and Defensive Upgrades and Downgrades: Every Monday, we'll hit the players you need to keep an eye on for Free Agent pickups as well as the players who you should deal. We'll also factor in upcoming schedules.

  • Game Recaps: Don't have Direct TV's Sunday Ticket and 8 receivers? No problem. We have Staff assigned to every game analyzing every play. Monday we'll post a detailed recap taken from the Fantasy Football Angle (not the generic recap you get in the press). We tell you What You Need to Know about each game and What you Ought To Know. We pass along things like near misses, goalline opportunities, and TDs nullified by penalty to give you the real picture.

  • Injury Recaps: Monday Night, we'll run down the news as to how Sunday's injuries are progressing after the Docs have done their work.

  • Stats Stats and More Stats: FBG readers are covered with statistics that are updated each week as the season progresses. From matchups, to Fantasy Points Per Game to Targets to Red Zone touches, if you need the numbers, we've got them.

  • Random Shots: Probably the most important Football opinions you'll get all week. As long as you consider topics like Melissa Starks' sweater important...

  • Schedule Strength and Outlook: Many games are decided by matchups and few things are more important there than schedule strength. So you can stay 3 steps ahead of the competition, we keep a running look at who's facing a creampuff defense and who's going against tough units.

  • Top 200 Lists: Trades are a key part of any team's success so we continue to update our Top 200 players list based on upcoming schedule and current situations.

  • Game Predictor: Using some of the most accurate forecasting tools available, we tell you what will happen and why each week. Uncannily accurate.

  • Rushing and Passing Matchups to Avoid / Exploit: We take every team in every game and break down the matchups for both rushing and passing. Knowing who to start and why based on the matchups can make the difference in winning and losing.

  • Player Projections: We give you detailed projected statistics for every player of note in the upcoming game. We hang our reputation on the line every week to help give you the most accurate and detailed projections possible.

  • Player Cheatsheets: Driven by the Player Projections, we create cheatsheets for every position to help answer that all important question of who to start.

  • Players in the News: Updated throughout the week, we give you quick capsules of every player that's made some news that week and keep you updated as to his status.

SORTABLE EVERYTHING
Too many websites offer their information in a format that's not much different than what you'd read in a newspaper. Lots of words and tables. And all you can do is look at them. The only difference is that it's harder to read a monitor than it is a piece of paper in your hands. With Footballguys, we harness the power of the internet to make these charts and numbers work for you. Want to view the 2002 Running backs by Red Zone Touches? One click away. How about WRs by how many times they were targeted? One click away. Instead of static pages that can't be manipulated, we give you features that you can twist and turn to make them work for you in ways that you want to see.

PROFESSIONAL OWNERSHIP
Footballguys.com isn't a "hobby" for us. It's a serious business run by serious people. Joe Bryant and David Dodds own Footballguys.com Both are 39 years old. When we designed our site, we asked ourselves what we would want. www.footballguys.com is what we came up with. Even on our free information, you'll never see a Pop Up ad on Footballguys.com. What little bit of advertising you see will be small and unobtrusive. Sure we like to have fun, and our Time Waster applications probably get a little more use than they should, but we're well aware you'll go to the Comedy Channel (or Sportscenter, sadly) if you want comedy. When you want Hardcore Football Information and Tools, we have what you want. We make our material as professional and easy to access as possible.

NEWS BLOGGER
Ok, this feature is free but still worth mentioning because it's so useful. There are a few news sites around the net, and some are quite good. This collection of fantasy football veterans has more than 200 years of collective experience. While the basic Blogger is free, look for us to continue integrating custom features with the Blogger for subscribers.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Regular visitors know we usually break it down to a "Bottom Line" as to what this means to you. Here it is. The fact that you've read this far shows that you're serious about Fantasy Football. Cool. We are too. This game is our livelihood and we're dead serious about being successful with it. And we know that for us to be successful, YOU have to be successful and we're fanatically committed to making that happen.
