Introduction to these player comments
I'm not high on Travis Henry. From what I've seen of him, I just don't think he's all that good. But, he does fall into that class of players that can have some fantasy value if the circumstances are right for him. He reminds me of guys like Errict Rhett and Reggie Cobb and Harold Green and and Lewis Tillman and James Allen. They're not good enough to ever be a longterm solution for any team, but they are good enough to be considered an acceptable stopgap for a rebuilding team. And if they're durable enough to last a full season and big enough to stay in at the goal line, then they can put together a pretty decent season -- say in the 10-20 range among RBs if everything breaks right. But that's not good enough to foster any job security, and it's not good enough for a contending NFL team to be satisfied with. Below is a list of RBs who were above the baseline once or twice or thrice, but who never finished higher than 10th among RBs. I predict that Travis Henry's name will end up on this list.
