New England's starting RB Antowain Smith is nursing a sore ankle after the game on Saturday. He came off the field limping during the game (twice), but returned to action both times.
Status: Smith's injury will be evaluated further later in the week - it doesn't appear too serious at this time.

Wide Receivers

Indianapolis' reserve WR Troy Walters missed the game on Sunday due to his injured foot.
Status: Walters was listed as questionable on the Friday injury report.

Tight Ends

Carolina's reserve TE Marco Battaglia (knee) missed the playoff game on Saturday.

Kickers

Patriot's PK Adam Vinatieri has been playing through back pain for a few weeks, according to a report in the Providence Journal (1/12/04).
Status: Vinatieri has continued to play as the Patriots' kicker, but his range may be affected by the injury.

Offensive Linemen

New England's G Damien Woody suffered a leg injury in the game on Saturday, but returned to action.
Status: Coach Belichick describes the injury as "a sore leg", and stated that the leg is not broken. However, he refused to speculate on Woody's availability for the next game, saying that the injury will be evaluated further later in the week.

Defensive Players

Carolina's reserve DB/ST Jarrod Cooper missed the game on Saturday due to a hamstring injury.
Status: Cooper was listed as questionable on the Friday injury report.

Philadelphia's starting CB Troy Vincent (hip) missed the game on Sunday.

Status: The injury does not appear serious at this time - although it is a separation, according to reports Monday. Morris will be evaluated further as the week goes along.

Indianapolis' starting FS Idrees Bashir separated his right shoulder during the game, and returned for only the final play of the game.
