Essential News

QB Jay Fiedler (Mia) said on Thursday that he will be a starter next season "whether it's here or elsewhere".

QB Steve McNair (Ten) practiced on Tuesday and Thursday and took part in the team walk-through on Friday and is expected to start this weekend.

FB Nicolas Luchey (GB) rested his injured leg on Thursday, but he should play this weekend.

RB Dominic Rhodes (Ind) practiced Wednesday through Friday and should play this weekend.

RB Derrick Blaylock (KC) practiced on Friday and should play this weekend.

RB Brian Westbrook (Phi) has been placed on the injured reserve list with his torn triceps (which will keep him out of the playoffs).

RB Eddie George (Ten) took part in the team walk-through on Friday and should play this weekend. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday. He is officially a game-time decision, but we expect him to play.

RB Robert Holcombe (Ten) practiced on Thursday and took part in the team walk-through on Friday. He is expected to be available, but is still limited with his injured hamstring.

WR Robert Ferguson (GB) practiced on Friday and should play this weekend after missing Thursday with the flu.

WR Javon Walker (GB) practiced on Thursday Friday and will play this weekend.

WR Brandon Stokley (Ind) practiced on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and is expected to play this weekend.

WR Troy Walters (Ind) practiced on Friday and should play this weekend.

WR Reggie Wayne (Ind) practiced on Friday and should play this weekend. He did not practice on Thursday.

WR Eddie Kennison (KC) missed Friday's practice to attend a funeral but is expected to play this weekend.

WR Isaac Bruce (StL) practiced all week and is expected to be at full strength for this weekend's game.

WR Eddie Berlin (Ten) has not practiced this week and is not expected to play this weekend.

WR Tyrone Calico (Ten) practiced on Tuesday and Wednesday and should play this weekend.
