Introduction to these player comments
Below you'll find lists of the top 100 WRs and TEs (ranked according to career VBD) whose careers started in 1970 or later (for the RB and QB lists, see Ricky Watters and Jeff Garcia). The Moss/Harrison/Owens group is just now starting to make its presence felt on this list, as they now sit at 18, 20, and 24, respectively. At least one of them should crack the top 10 this year, and they'll all be there at the end of 2003. And now that I look at it, we should include Isaac Bruce in this group, too. He's actually younger than Harrison. The other item to keep an eye on is how far Tim Brown can climb. He's currently #5, behind only Rice, Largent, Carter, and Lofton. I think #2 (Largent) is probably out of reach, but 90 VBD points -- about two more seasons like last year -- would get him to #3.
